Made here. Grown here. Connected here.
Island Good launches new website to make shopping Island products easier

Every choice to shop Island-made is a win for Vancouver Island communities and now it’s easier than ever.

Island Good has launched a newly redesigned website that helps Vancouver Islanders and visitors quickly discover products that are made, grown, or manufactured right here on the Island.

The updated site connects shoppers to Island Good businesses across food, beverages, personal care, home goods, and more – showing what’s made here, who’s behind it, and where to buy it.

Designed to be simple for both consumers and businesses to navigate, the site aims to make discovering Island products feel effortless. Instead of being something people have to go out of their way to do, Island Good hopes supporting Island businesses becomes second nature for people who live, work, and visit here.

Many Islanders already know the feeling of spotting something on a shelf and realizing it was made just down the road. From farms and fisheries to bakeries, distilleries, and small manufacturers, Vancouver Island has an incredible community of makers and producers. Island Good helps bring those businesses together under one recognizable label so people can discover them more easily.

Retailers, restaurants, and other businesses also play an important role. By stocking products with the Island Good label, they show their commitment to Island suppliers while investing in the long-term strength of their communities. Supporting Island production helps keep jobs, skills, and innovation in the region.

Living on an island also means understanding the value of supporting the businesses around us. Choosing Island products helps keep jobs, skills, and investment in the region while strengthening the communities we call home. It’s a small decision that adds up to something much bigger for Vancouver Island and the Rural Islands.

Each Island Good label tells a story about the people behind a product, the communities they operate in, and the pride of building something on Vancouver Island. For consumers, it also offers confidence that what they’re buying is genuinely made or grown on Vancouver Island.

The new website makes it easier to discover those businesses and products in one place, helping shoppers support the Island economy with every purchase.

Island Good invites everyone to be part of the team championing pride, prosperity, and belonging across Vancouver Island and the Rural Islands.
