Ferry terminal maintenance cancels Duke Point-Tsawwassen sailings
NANAIMO — A pair of round trips between Duke Point and Tsawwassen are cancelled to complete required ferry terminal maintenance.
A service notice from BC Ferries states the last available sailing on the route leaves both terminals on Tuesday, June 24 at 5:45 p.m. to allow work at the Duke Point terminal south of Nanaimo to be finished.
As a result, the 8:45 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. leaving both terminals have been removed from the schedule.
Three Tuesday evening round-trip sailings during the closure are offered between Departure Bay and Horseshoe Bay (6:20 p.m., 8:30 p.m., and 10:40 p.m.)
