Apr 12, 2024 | 2:51 PM

NANAIMO — Local Mounties are asking for the public’s help to locate a woman believed to be in the region or potentially the south Island.

Thirty-eight year old Morgan Elizabeth Blanch has 14 outstanding warrants, with charges ranging from possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, assault and theft under $5,000, to theft of a motor vehicle and fraud.

While most of Blanch’s alleged crimes stem from Vancouver or communities around Victoria beginning last August, six charges were laid against her after a Dec. 17, 2023 incident in Nanaimo.

Blanch faces assault with a weapon, uttering threats, mischief, theft and possession of weapon and stolen property charges in connection to the events of Dec. 17.

Court records show she failed to appear for a court date on March 28 on the south Island and warrants were issued for her arrest.

She has no criminal record in B.C. prior to these alleged incidents.

Blanch is described as caucasian, 5’8″ tall, 141 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on Blanch’s whereabouts is asked to contact Nanaimo RCMP at 250 754 2345, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
