NANAIMO — Police in Nanaimo are appealing to the public for help in locating a man wanted on a Canada- wide arrest warrant for parole violations.

Peter Ludvigson, 45, was supposed to be living at a family home in Nanaimo as stipulated by his parole conditions, but hasn’t been at the home since early May, according to RCMP.

Police say Ludvigson, of Nanaimo, was paroled after serving the majority of his federal sentence for property related crimes and theft charges.

Ludvigson is white, 5’11” and 220 pounds. He has red hair, brown eyes and a number of tattoos across his upper torso. One tattoo depicts a devil with flames on his lower right forearm, police said.
