Public to pick Parksville sand sculpting theme

PARKSVILLE — The public is tasked with choosing the theme for the 38th annual Quality Foods Sand Sculpting Competition and Exhibition in Parksville this summer.

The Parksville Beach Festival Society opened an online survey with three theme options to choose from: Roaring 20’s, Topsy Turvey and Celebrate.

Online votes will be a accepted until February 17, 2020.

Nearly 700 online votes backed the Myths & Legends theme selected for the 2019 event.
