Clippers season ends with 5-1 loss in Game 5
NANAIMO — The BCHL season is over for the Clippers after a 5-1 loss to the Powell River Kings in Game 5.
In the first period the Kings came out firing with goals by Neal Samanski and Ben Thomas in the first five minutes.
Nanaimo was able to regroup and get on the board in the second period thanks to a Josh Bourne power play goal.
But the Kings struck twice quickly with markers by Levi Glasman and Mitchell Williams to go up 4-1.
