Clippers end road trip with impressive 6-3 win in Langley
LANGLEY – The Clippers five game losing streak is now a memory after a 6-3 road win against the Rivermen on Sunday.
Nanaimo got down 2-0 in the first period but came storming back to score six of the final seven goals in the game.
Garrett Daly on a five on three, and then Alec Capstick got Langley on the board in the first period before Marcus Mitchell’s wrist shot from the right side got the Clippers rolling.
Nanaimo had the only goals of the second period on a one timer from Josh Bourne and a shot off the wing by Gunnar Wegleitner.
