Nanaimo man arrested for alleged sexual assault on West Van buses

NANAIMO — West Vancouver Police have arrested a Nanaimo man for two sexual assaults on public transit.
In a release, Cst. Jeff Palmer said the incidents happened on two West Vancouver buses Monday night, where a 21-year-old man first allegedly groped a woman, fled the bus when confronted and was then accused of fondling himself on a second bus.
Based on information from West Vancouver Transit, police found and arrested the suspect without incident.
Police recommended charges of sexual assault and incident acts in public.
