The Christmas Angel program is now underway, and they are looking for “Angels” to help support those less fortunate in our community.
It is entirely up to you how much you can afford, and it is not about spending the most, but rather ensuring that the Christmas spirit is shared and makes for a happy memory! Many of our angels come in the form of a team of office members or another group, and those lucky recipients receive a bounty to be sure. Why not invite (or challenge!) family members, friends or co-workers to join the Christmas Angel brigade!
If you are interested in helping out this year, please email (here) or call Rita directly (250-758-7121 ) to discuss how you would like to be involved this year. While the programme officially ends December 15, last year they received anxious calls for help up until December 23rd. Note, if you don’t time to shop – they would be pleased to accept a cash (cash, cheque or PayPal ) tax-deductible donation! They know that the kindness shown by Angels last year made a world of difference in the lives of over 350 families, seniors and vulnerable youth.
