Sep 27, 2016 | 10:42 AM

NANAIMO — Monday night was special for three members of the Nanaimo Senior A Timbermen.

Brody Eastwood, Mason Pynn, and Taylor Stuart were all selected in the NLL Entry Draft in Toronto.

Timbermen president Chris Bowman says the organization is proud of all three players.

“I knew they’d go, I just didn’t know when and where,” said Bowman.  “I knew they’d been talking to different teams and different GM’s.  A pretty exciting day for them, but exciting for our team too.”

Eastwood was the first selected, going 26th overall to the Calgary Roughnecks.

He had 16 points in 13 games with the Tmen in 2016.

The lefty saw his WLA production drop last season, but Bowman expects Eastwood to flourish in Calgary’s system.

Mason Pynn was was picked 30th overall by the Saskatchewan Rush.

He was also Nanaimo’s 13th overall pick in the 2015 WLA Draft and had a strong defensive season with the Tmen with three points in 10 games in 2016.

Taylor Stuart went 35th overall to the Colorado Mammoth where he will join other Timbermen players Jordan Gilles and Conrad Chapman.

Stuart was taken as the 7th pick in the 2016 WLA Draft and recorded two goals and nine assists in 12 games for the Timbermen last season.

The National Lacrosse League season kicks off on December 30th for Colorado.

Calgary opens on January 6th and Saskatchewan starts on January 7th.
