RIO, BRAZIL — Another Paralympic gold medal for Parksville’s Michelle Stilwell.

The local MLA set a new Paralympic record Saturday morning in Rio, capturing the gold medal with a time of 1:05:43 in the women’s 400-metre T52 race.

It’s the fourth career Paralympic gold for the 42-year-old.
