NANAIMO — Small, local business to the lifeblood of any community and NanaimoNewsNOW is proud to amplify the work they do in our region.

Amplify Nanaimo is an initiative with Pattison Media and Save-on-Foods to nominate and recognize local businesses who go above and beyond in the community.

Curious Comics, located in Country Club Centre was nominated by a reader who praised them for a family-friendly atmosphere.

“A hub for kids and comic book lovers to come pick up unique gifts and wonderful comics. Lots of mom/son time spent reading comics during COVID pandemic. This store also keeps the “Hip” factor for Country Club mall.”

Curious Comics provides a wide selection of comics, graphic novels, trading cards and memorabilia.
