NANAIMO — For nearly 11 seasons, broadcaster Dan Marshall has painted a gripping and exciting picture of what's happening on the ice with the Nanaimo Clippers. He'll now call games with a prestigious new medal sitting in his trophy case.

WCSLA Timbermen finish first - next up playoffs and Presidents Cup

NANAIMO — Step one is complete for the Senior B Timbermen lacrosse team - win the WCSLA regular season title.
 
With a 15-3 record the Tmen were the class of the league as they gear up to host the Presidents Cup Senior B championship in late August.

NANAIMO — It has begun.

The VI Raiders quest to repeat as Cullen Cup champions started this week with practices at Comox Field.

There won't be a main camp this year with coach Doug Hocking stating the rationale is keeping his players from coming out of main camp 'beat up'.

The 52ndNanaimo Invitational Meet was put on by the Nanaimo White Rapids Swim Club at the Kin Pool.
