NANAIMO – The Clippers are hoping to bring Canadian Junior A hockey's most important event back to the Harbour City.

A bid for the 2021 RBC Cup is being made by the team, to see the CJHL's championship return to Nanaimo for the first time since 1998.

Short manned Clippers earn point in 4-3 OT loss in Duncan

DUNCAN – The Clippers and Capitals went beyond 60 minutes on Saturday night with Cowichan Valley getting a 4-3 win in overtime.

Nanaimo finishes the season series 6-1-1 against their island rivals and are on a run of collecting points in three of their last four games.

The Clippers lost 5-4 in Powell River Tuesday.  They sit at 1-6 in the season series with one head to head meeting left on February 23.

Clippers suffer 5-4 loss and several injuries in Powell River

POWELL RIVER – The Clippers lost a back and forth battle with the Powell River Kings on Tuesday 5-4.

Nanaimo never led but battled back from deficits of 2-0, 3-2, and 4-3, before surrendering the game winner near the middle of the third period.
