VICTORIA — The British Columbia legislature's two top officials say they have responded to a report released by the Speaker alleging they engaged in flagrant overspending, questionable expenses and inappropriate payouts of cash.

VICTORIA — British Columbia's mental health and addictions minister has joined health officials to call for a safer drug supply to fight the rising overdose death toll while urging the federal government to open a "courageous conversation" on decriminalization.

PARKSVILLE — Oceanside RCMP are hoping the public can help find a local woman missing for more than two weeks.

Oceanside RCMP Sgt. Stephen Rose said Tracy Lee Kelly, 39, was last seen on Jan. 23.

City of Vancouver says 2018 empty home tax cut number of homes sitting vacant

VANCOUVER — The number of vacant properties in Vancouver has fallen by 15 per cent in one year and the city says just over half of those previously empty homes have been returned to the rental market.

The statistics are from initial returns of Vancouver's 2018 empty homes tax.
