Car pulled from pond along Millstone River

NANAIMO — Park crews went fishing for something a little bigger in a pond off the Millstone River.
Heavy equipment was used to haul a car out of one of the ponds Saturday morning.
It was partially submerged with door windows open and the back window shattered.
The car was reportedly stolen the night before, according to crews on the ground who pulled out the car. It’s unknown when or how it found itself in water nearly up to the door windows.
