UPDATE: Missing 17-year-old found by Nanaimo RCMP

NANAIMO — RCMP have found a missing 17-year-old who hadn’t been seen or heard from since Friday.

Police confirmed on social media Brianna Fisher, 17, was found safe and sound.

She’d last been seen leaving her south Nanaimo home on Friday, Sept. 7 at 10 a.m. and hadn’t had any contact with friends of family by the time RCMP notified the public of her disappearance.
