NANAIMO — Were you robbed on Monday night?

Oceanside RCMP are asking Parksville residents to check their homes and cars after they found and arrested a 49-year-old breaking into a trailer at a storage compound on the morning of Tuesday, May 15.

Police believe the man travelled on a bike during a crime spree Monday evening, carrying items stolen from the Lodgepole/Ironwood subdivision before being caught on Valley Rd.

Cpl. Michelle Lebrun said “the suspect had many other stolen items” police would like to get back to their rightful owners.
