May 1, 2018 | 1:12 PM

NANAIMO — A missing 18-year-old is now safe after leaving his family house in Nanaimo without telling anyone.

Police confirmed Daniel Little was located safe and sound.

This is after he was spotted in Chiliwack on Monday, May 1.

“He was reported to be in good spirits and didn’t seem to be in distress when he was dropped off at the Greyhound Bus station,” an RCMP release said.

EARLIER: A local family is worried and near panic after 18-year-old Daniel Little disappeared over the weekend.

“It’s not like him and we can’t think of any rational explanation,” his mother Denise Little told NanaimoNewsNOW in an email. “It’s not like him in general to go anywhere without telling (us).”

He was last seen leaving his family home on Sunday, April 29. He didn’t take either his bike or scooter, which police say are his main form of transportation.

Nanaimo RCMP said Little is “considered a responsible young man with full time employment and no known health or personal issues” who’s never gone missing before.
