NANAIMO — In the BCHL, the Nanaimo Clippers lost 4-1 to Langley Satruday night at Frank Crane Arena. The Clippers are in Prince George on Friday. 

In the VIJHL, the Nanaimo Buccaneers got past the Oceanside Generals 5-3. With the victory the Buccaneers improve to 12-11 on the season, with the loss the Generals fall to 5-13-0-1. 

The Buccaneers are back on the ice on Thursday when they host the Campbell River Storm. Game time at the Nanaimo Ice Centre is 7:15 p.m.

The Generals will look to snap a 4 game losing streak this afternoon in Kerry Park.

In the PACWEST, both the men’s and women’s basketball teams were in action Saturday at Langara College in Vancouver. The men lost 95-94, the women won 61-39.
