Fire that torched Nanaimo moving van considered ‘suspicious’

NANAIMO — A moving van was set on fire just after 2 a.m. Saturday morning on Selby Street.
Nanaimo Fire Rescue got the RCMP involved after determining the fire was suspicious.
According to police, there was $6,000 damage to the van, which belongs to Two Burly Men Moving Company.
Police found that other vehicles in that same parking lot, near Franklyn Street, had their tires slashed as well.
