NANAIMO — The Labour Day Weekend is another busy one for the corporation.

Spokesperson Deborah Marshall says typically, the traffic is spread out over the weekend.

“What we find with Labour Day is some families will opt to travel home on the Sunday, so that they can have that holiday Monday to get the kids organized at home. Of course other folks want to stay that extra day and they will be returning home on the holiday Monday,” said Marshall.

There also tends to be more foot passengers on the Labour Day weekend.
