NANAIMO — The VI Raiders are now 2-2 on the season after a 37-19 loss to the Okanagan Sun Saturday night.
The Raiders led after the first quarter 10-7 at the Apple Bowl in Kelwona. However Okanagan took the lead half way through the second quarter and never looked back improving to 4-0 on the season.
This marked the first meeting between the two football rivals, since last fall’s BCFC conference final when Okanagan shut out the Raiders.
The Raiders are back in action next Saturday August 20th, when they host the Langley Rams.
