Man dies after collapsing on Grouse Grind trail in North Vancouver

VANCOUVER — A man has died after collapsing on a popular trail on North Vancouver’s Grouse Mountain.
North Vancouver RCMP Corp. Richard de Jong says it happened at around 8 p.m. Wednesday night.
He says the man in his 50s suffered a heart attack at the halfway point of the Grouse Grind trail.
Mounties, North Shore Rescue and B.C. Ambulance responded and the man was airlifted off the mountain.
