City Council spent 5 hours last night studying the future of waterfront attractions.

Council recommended moving forward on the Quay-to-quay path project, which is half-completed and needing the final $1.25 million in funding to begin the third stage.

The final portion of the path is awaiting a final development plan for the Somass Mill lands.

Council also heard from the Industrial Heritage Society who are determined to restore rail operations and the old time logging show at McLeans Mill National Historic Site.
