Sep 14, 2022 | 10:01 AM

NANAIMO — It’s the stories that matter most, delivered directly to your inbox for free.

NanaimoNewsNOW is excited to feature a once-daily email service where our top local stories are delivered directly to you every evening.

Best of all, it’s free – no “value-added subscriptions”, no paywalls, no story limits. We remain committed to providing Nanaimo’s most in depth and impactful news to our audience with no barriers to prevent people from knowing what’s going on in their community.

Click here to sign up for the free service. We’ve also answered some initial questions on the service below.

How often will you email me?
We will email you once per day, around 5:30 p.m. with our top local stories in one convenient email. When breaking news stories demand it, such as February’s house explosion near downtown Nanaimo, we may also use the mailing list to push out vital information direct to our readers.

What will you do with my information?
Aside from emailing our top, local stories every day, absolutely nothing. We will not sell or otherwise distribute your information to anyone outside NanaimoNewsNOW.

Will this service always be free?
We have no plans to ever charge for our news service, whether people directly visit NanaimoNewsNOW or receive this email subscription. It is our belief access to news and information from your community should be easy and free.

I have more questions about this news service.
