Somass Mill announcement tomorrow

The City will announce their chosen developer of the Somass Mill lands tomorrow.

The city announced on social media Friday that a “highly anticipated” news release about the developer will be coming Tuesday.

While the City has been extremely tight-lipped during the year-long process, Mayor Sharie Minions has only said the developer is “well-known” and not small.

The successful firm was chosen from 16 applicants wanting to develop the 43-acre former industrial site that the city bought two years ago for $5.3 million.
