NANAIMO — The VI Raiders snapped a two game losing streak Saturday night to get back to the .500 mark on the season.

The Raiders came from behind and stole a 16-13 decision from the Broncos at Kamloops' Hillside Stadium.

Update: Nanaimo Buccaneers place 6th at 18U Nationals

NANAIMO — The Nanaimo Buccaneers midget AAA baseball team is coming home with a 6th place finish from the 2016 Baseball Canada 18U National Championships in Sherbrooke, Quebec.

The Bucs closed out the four-day tournament with a 9-7 loss to team Ontario on Sunday morning.
