Nanaimo Buccaneers drop entertaining 4-1 decision to visiting Campbell River

NANAIMO — The Nanaimo Buccaneers faltered 4-1 to the visiting Campbell River storm Thursday night, but the young Bucs held their own in a fast-paced contest against what is expected to be one of the league's top teams this season.

Raiders host the best of the BCFC on back to back weekends

NANAIMO — The VI Raiders have three games left in the regular season, and the next two are against the top two teams in the BCFC.
 
The 3-4 Raiders will host the 6-1 Westshore Rebels on Saturday, and then the 6-1 Okanagan Sun will come to Caledonia Park the week after.

NANAIMO — In the VIJHL, the Nanaimo Buccaneers and Oceanside Generals were both in action on Saturday night. 

The Buccaneers fell 6-2 on the road to the Comox Valley Glacier Kings.The Generals lost 5-3 at home to the Westshore Wolves.
