Wounded Warriors Run BC
VANCOUVER ISLAND | PORT HARDY TO VICTORIA
MONDAY, FEBRUARY 20 TO SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 26
Wounded Warriors Canada helps Canadian Forces members, veterans, first responders, and their families, who have been wounded or injured in their service to Canada (primarily focusing on mental health, in particular, Operational and Post Traumatic Stress Disorders).
The Wounded Warrior Run BC is a charity run that traverses the length of Vancouver Island each year to raise public awareness and financial support. The six-member team will relay run the entire length of Vancouver Island for seven consecutive days, February 20-26th. On Friday, February 24th (Comox to Nanaimo) and then on Saturday, Friday 25th (Nanaimo to Mill Bay). Their goal this year is to raise over $40,000 for Wounded Warriors Canada.
The team will visit each local Royal Canadian Legion Branch along the planned route (see here), where you can go and support them as well as give a donation. You can also donate here.
