LADYMSITH — Two are in critical condition at the hospital after a serious crash on the Trans-Canada Highway in the southend of Ladysmith.
Local police said a northbound semi-truck hit a small car which was crossing across the highway at Davis Rd. on Monday morning around 6:20 a.m.
The two car passengers were taken to hospital with what’s believed to be critical injuries.
The driver of the semi-truck received minor injuries after rolling the truck during evasive maneuvers, which in turn closed both northbound lanes of the highway.
