Fourth place finish for U16B Diamonds at White Rock softball tournament

NANAIMO — The Nanaimo Diamonds U16B softball team captured fourth place in their first tournament of the year
 
The girls represented the Nanaimo Minor Softball Association at an 11 team tournament in White Rock.
 
In the round robin the Diamonds finished with a 3-1 record and the Game MVP awards went to Emma Hache, Mya Rosenlind, Mia Tripodi and Zari Benedict.
 
The team, made up of 14 and 15 year-olds, finished the tournament with a team .321 batting average.
