WINNIPEG — A man is in critical condition after an overnight police-involved shooting in Winnipeg.
The Independent Investigation Unit — Manitoba’s police watchdog — says officers were called to a north-central residence a few minutes after midnight.
The team says once there, an officer fired his gun after they were confronted by a 25-year-old man.
He was taken to hospital and underwent surgery.
