NANAIMO — A Nanaimo man is facing numerous charges after RCMP say they found drugs and stolen credit cards in his home.

RCMP said Levar Anthony Hayden, 30, was arrested in south Nanaimo on Thursday evening. The arrest led to a search of Hayden’s home where police allegedly found nearly 70 grams of suspected fentanyl, meth, heroin and cocaine. Mounties said they also seized 30 suspected stolen credit cards, cash, a switchblade and four cell phones.

Hayden is charged with six counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of stolen property. He appeared in court Friday and was released until another appearance on Oct. 24.
