Parksville city staff looking for more input on community park

PARKSVILLE — Work continues on shaping the future of the Community Park in Parksville.

Starting the first week of May, residents will be getting a postcard in the mail with an access code for a short, on-line survey. The city’s Deb Tardiff says you can complete the survey while enjoying a cup of coffee.

“The survey will take between five and ten minutes, depending how many comments people have,” she said. “It’s fairly simple but will give people a real good chance to tell us why they use the park, what they would like to see in the park in the future.”

The mail-out is the latest attempt to gather public feedback. And while residents may have been approached already, Tardiff says filling out the survey is still important because it asks specific questions.
