Nanaimo prolific offender back in jail
NANAIMO — A Nanaimo man who’s no stranger to the legal system is back behind bars after he plead guilty to several property crime offences.
Peter Anthony Alexander, 32, was sentenced on Tuesday, April 18 by judge Brian Harvey in Provincial Court in Nanaimo to 414 days in jail with credit for time served taken into account.
Alexander was convicted on seven charges, including break and enter and possessing stolen property over $5,000, in relation to crimes in Nanaimo between March and May of last year.
He was also tagged with a year-and-a-half on probation following his jail sentence.
