NANAIMO — A Nanaimo man with a long history of offences will be behind bars for the next three months.
Kerry Chang, 49, was sentenced Thursday, March 16, after pleading guilty to occupying a vehicle when firearms were present.
He was arrested Jan. 15 after police found him with a loaded Glock pistol, more than $7,000 cash and small bags which possibly contained meth and cocaine.
At the time, RCMP said they considered Chang a “prolific” offender with numerous violent offences on his record.
