‘Heavy’ snowfall destined for Nanaimo by Sunday morning: Environment Canada

Feb 25, 2017 | 1:08 PM

NANAIMO — Here we go again.

If Environment Canada’s guess is correct, Nanaimo is in store for another “heavy” dump of snow. A snowfall warning issued by the weather agency predicted up to 20 cm. could fall, beginning overnight Saturday, lasting until late Sunday morning.

According to the statement, how much snow actually sticks will depend on where you are. As usual, areas inland are expected to see more accumulation.

Visibility and road conditions are expected to be issues.
