NANAIMO —  In the BCHL, the Nanaimo Clippers are rolling right now after winning their third game in a row.  The Clippers got past the Alberni Valley Bulldogs 3-1 last night at Frank Crane Arena.  

Matt Creamer’s 17th goal of the season was the game winner. The Clippers are off until Wednesday when they will host the Cowichan Valley Capitals.   

In the VIJHL, the Nanaimo Buccaneers also have a winning streak of three games after a 3-1 win over Peninsula on the road.  The Buccanners next action is Tuesday in Campbell River. 

Meanwhile the Oceanside Generals have now lost five games in a row after a 4-3 double overtime loss to Comox Valley.  The Generals will be back on the ice tonight when they host Saanich. Game time is 7:30 p.m. at Oceanside Place.
