Feb 7, 2017 | 4:52 PM

NANAIMO — Another winter storm is on the way for Nanaimo, possibly bringing with it nightmarish driving conditions many saw in the last storm.

Environment Canada has issued a winter storm warning, calling for between five and 15 centimetres of snow, although amounts will vary greatly across the mid-island.

Snow is expected to begin Wednesday afternoon, getting more intesne moving into the evening. The weather agency is predicting a good chance of freezing rain changing to heavy rainfall overnight Wednesday and into Thursday.

This storm will bring with it “hazardous conditions,” according to Environment Canada. This means roads will be icy and there could even be some flooding.
