Celebrities to turn out for women’s march on Washington
WASHINGTON — Hollywood will be turning out in force for the women’s march on Washington set to follow Donald Trump’s inauguration.
Actress America Ferrera will attend the march and chair its “artist table,” organizers said Monday.
Other notables who plan to participate include Amy Schumer, Scarlett Johansson, Frances McDormand and Zendaya.
“Since the election, so many fear that their voices will go unheard,” Ferrara said in a statement. “As artists, women, and most importantly dedicated Americans, it is critical that we stand together in solidarity for the protection, dignity and rights of our communities.”
