Clippers win tight 2-1 contest over Cowichan Valley

NANAIMO – The new look Clippers edged Cowichan Valley 2-1 on Friday night.

They welcomed recent acquisitions Marcus Joseph and Ben Taylor to the line up, and welcomed back Lucas Finner from a two month absence for a hand injury. 

Nanaimo built up a 2-0 lead on goals by Brady Lynn in the first period and Aidan Casey in the second.

The Capitals only goal came shorthanded with four minutes left in the game by Nicholas Wilson.
