NANAIMO —  In the BCHL, the Nanaimo Clippers were shutout 1-0 by Victoria Friday night at Frank Crane Arena.

The Clippers will travel to Victoria tonight looking for a better result against the Grizzlies. 

In the PACWEST, both VIU’s men’s and women’s volleyball teams were on the court taking on Douglas College Friday night in Nanaimo . Both matches went to four sets, the men won 3-1 by scores of 25-18, 24-26, 25-17, 25-17.

The women fell in four sets 25-13, 17-25, 25-23, 25-22.

Both VIU teams will take on Douglas College again this afternoon at the VIU Gymnasium. The women at 1:00 p.m. and the men at 3:00 p.m.
