Sabra recalls hummus amid listeria contamination fears

Nov 21, 2016 | 7:30 AM

WASHINGTON — Some varieties of Sabra hummus sold in the United States and Canada are being recalled amid concerns over possible listeria contamination.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says says listeria was identified at the manufacturing facility, but not in the finished product.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency said on the weekend that there have been no reported illnesses in Canada linked to the hummus.

Sabra also says no illnesses have been reported.
