NANAIMO — Police are hoping the public can help them identify a man accused of using a stolen credit card.

Nanaimo RCMP say a man had his wallet stolen from his scooter outside of the Woodgrove Centre Walmart on Nov. 10. By the time the man called his credit card company to cancel his card, it had already been used at various north-Nanaimo stores, according to police.

Mounties say the picture they have released is of a man who allegedly used the stolen card at Cabela’s.

Police are asking anyone who knows the man in the picture to call 250-754-2345 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
