Toronto Blue Jays second baseman Devon Travis has a bone bruise and is expected to be ready for spring training next season,
The Blue Jays announced today that an MRI revealed the bone bruise as well as a small flap of cartilage caught in Travis’s right knee joint.
The team says Travis will most likely require a knee scope but will be re-evaluated when the swelling subsides.
Travis left in the fifth inning of Game 1 of the American League Championship Series in Cleveland after running to cover first base on a bunt.
