Nanaimo Aquatic Centre reopens

NANAIMO — After being shut down for nearly a month the Nanaimo Aquatic Centre is now open again.

The NAC reopened Monday morning after closing its doors for annual maintenance and repair work on August 29. The work included replacing the three metre diving board and stand, painting touch-ups throughout the facility, general maintenance of the pool heat exchangers, circulating pumps and play equipment and extensive cleaning.

Beban Pool shut down in July for similar maintenance work.
