NANAIMO — In the BCHL, the Nanaimo Clippers have now won three games in a row after a 3-2 victory Saturday night over the Surrey Eagles at Frank Crane Arena. The Clippers are off until Friday when they take on the Vernon Vipers at the BCHL Showcase in Chilliwack.

In the VIJHL,  the Oceanside Generals were edged 3-2 by the Saanich Braves. The Generals are back on the ice this afternoon when they host the Comox Valley Glacier Kings. Game time at Oceanside Place is 2:30 p.m.

In the BCFC, the VI Raiders and Westshore Rebals game ended in a tie 25-25. The Raiders are now 3-4-1 on the season and will host the Okanagan Sun next Saturday at Caledonia Park.

In PACWEST soccer action both the VIU’s men’s and women’s soccer teams were in action Saturday afternoon at Merle Logan Field in Nanaimo. The men fell 2-1 to Capilano while the women ended in a 1-1 draw with Capilano.

Both teams are back in action today when they host Quest.
