RDN board hires new CAO

NANAIMO — Following a lengthy process, the Regional District of Nanaimo has hired a new chief administrative officer.
It’s Phyllis Carlyle who will starts her new job in Nanaimo on October 11.
A RDN news release states that Carlyle has 26 years of municipal experience, including the past 12 years as gm of law and community safety at the City of Richmond.
The RDN board selected Carlyle following a Canada-wide search.
