Police ask seasonal residents for help finding missing Enderby woman

Aug 18, 2016 | 6:37 PM

ENDERBY, B.C. — Police are issuing a plea to seasonal residents of the Enderby, B.C., area for help finding a woman who has been missing for a month.

Deanna Wertz was last seen in the early morning of July 19 at her home on Yankee Flats Road in the north Okanagan community.

RCMP say the 46-year-old is an avid hiker and it’s believed that she went for a walk somewhere in the woods near her home.

Mounties want to hear from the area’s seasonal residents who were in Enderby in July but have since returned to their homes in Alberta or elsewhere in BC.
